In January 2025, devastating wildfires swept through Los Angeles County, including Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Altadena. The Palisades Fire alone destroyed over 6,800 structures and claimed 12 lives. Combined with the Eaton Fire, these blazes burned nearly 40,000 acres and resulted in the loss of more than 16,000 structures.
